Since 1957, ARCA has provided opportunities for individuals with intellectual, developmental and cognitive disabilities to enjoy great lives. ARCA's project would provide accessible bathrooms, improved and shaded outdoor areas as well as needed kitchen upgrades. ARCA is the only provider in New Mexico offering community based, post acute services for adults with an acquired brain injury.

Backfield in Motion

Backfield in Motion focuses on education through mastery of literacy and numeracy skills for at-risk youth that leads to a high school diploma, a foundation for higher education, and the on-job skills needed to enter the world of work. The organization uses athletics as an incentive for academic improvement and is in dire need of a renovation to the building they've worked out of since the 1950s. Project plans include painting the gym, classrooms, bathrooms and the gym floor, as well as replacing worn stage curtains.

Barn Buddies Rescue

Barn Buddies Rescue is dedicated to the rescue of abused, neglected or abandoned farm animals. BBR wants to renovate a bus to create a Teaching Children's Library which will help children learn about agriculture and farm life.The project includes leveling the bus, constructing interior bookshelves and student desks, handicap entry ramps, as well as complete overhead shade cover and a front deck.

Junior League of the Shoals

Junior League of the Shoals seeks to create an outdoor learning center in this space. The project requires landscape and item removal before new landscaping and ground cover can be installed. The project plan includes planting Emerald Arborivate, or a hedge type plant, around the perimeter of the area to provide a sound barrier from the traffic and installing astro turf surfacing. The completed center would include playground equipment, as well.

Life Pointe Ministries at Titusville Civic Center

Life Pointe Ministries, which provides support to the homeless population in its community, seeks to repair or replace the organization's roof, ceiling and air conditioners, as well ensure its bathrooms are handicap accessible. The organization would also like to upgrade its kitchen space to be able to provide additional meals to those in need.

Roof Above would like to add an outdoor gathering space at its brand new permanent supportive housing community, which will provide housing for 88 people who have experienced chronic homelessness. This grant would allow Roof Above to transform the space's old pool area, which had previously been filled in, into an outdoor gathering space for both informal and formal community-building activities.

Shower the People exists to address the lack of shower, hygiene and laundry services for people who who are unhoused, and this project entails securing a permanent location for the organization. The Shower the People office gives people the chance to shower, wash clothes and pick up necessities before moving into a more permanent living space. This program provides low-income families with clean laundry weekly. A permanent space to continue these services is central to Shower the People’s mission to be successful.

Southside Community Farm

Southside Community Farm's mission is to grow Black food sovereignty in Asheville, North Carolina's Southside neighborhood, which hosts most of Asheville's public housing. The neighborhood has no grocery store, which limits access to reliable, convenient, and healthy food. This project would create a resource for edible plants and fruit trees.

The City of Oneonta

The Little Brick Church is used throughout the year as a gathering place for community members. It is a historic structure that now requires critical repairs and a roof replacement. The City of Oneonta has few places for people to gather, so without a maintained Little Brick Church, residents will seek opportunities outside the community.

The Salvation Army Birmingham

The Salvation Army Birmingham is working to complete the final stage of a facility improvement project to provide critical programs and services for at-risk families, children and senior citizens. Updates include structural and aesthetic repairs and updates, as well as upgrades to enhance security for this center in a high-crime neighborhood by providing new locks and a security system. The center is committed to maintaining a strong presence to provide a safe place for at-risk children and low-income senior citizens in the face of these challenges.
