The Salvation Army Birmingham

The Salvation Army Birmingham is working to complete the final stage of a facility improvement project to provide critical programs and services for at-risk families, children and senior citizens. Updates include structural and aesthetic repairs and updates, as well as upgrades to enhance security for this center in a high-crime neighborhood by providing new locks and a security system. The center is committed to maintaining a strong presence to provide a safe place for at-risk children and low-income senior citizens in the face of these challenges. Plans include fresh landscaping and the creation of a community garden.
