Let's make it home again

Lowe’s has committed $500,000 to support disaster relief and recovery efforts following the recent earthquakes in Mexico and hurricane devastation in Puerto Rico and across the Caribbean.

That brings the company’s disaster relief commitment to $2.5 million this year both domestically and internationally.

The company committed to at least $1 million through cash and product donations in support of disaster relief and recovery efforts following Hurricane Irma. Lowe’s also contributed to disaster relief following major flooding and damage caused by Hurricane Harvey.

Lowe’s is working with nonprofit partners and government agencies to determine immediate and long-term support needed by local communities.

Volunteers from Lowe’s partnered with the First Response Team of America to complete a service project in Florida to help residents clean up. Lowe’s volunteers also partnered with the First Response Team in Aransas Pass, Rockport and Houston, Texas following Hurricane Harvey.

Lowe’s has doubled its match of employee contributions to the fund following Hurricane Harvey. Since it was established in 1999, the fund has helped approximately 26,000 employees by providing more than $29 million in financial aid.
