Downtown Development Association

The Downtown Development Association, in partnership with the City of Grand Forks, North Dakota, wants to transform its town square from a deteriorating, underused, and unsafe space to the beloved community gathering location it was always intended to be. Infrastructure updates would include electrical, painting, level pavers, lighting updates, and additional safety pieces. A revitalized Town Square would operate 250+ days a year with activities like giant checkers, chess, outdoor musical instruments, firepits, benches, and workout equipment.
