Lowe's and First Response of America clean up a single mother's home hit hard by Hurricane Irma
For just about everyone reading this – the best part of the day is walking inside and relaxing in your castle. Your sanctuary. Your home. But for those affected by Hurricane Irma in Naples, Florida, coming home took on a whole new meaning. It was filled with stress, anxiety, and fear.
One particular woman evacuated hundreds of miles north with her two young children. She found out days later what happened to her home.
Fifteen associates from the Northport Florida store volunteered along with First Response of America, to clear fallen trees around her home caused by high winds from Hurricane Irma. Those volunteers hope the mother’s eventual return home will now be just a little bit easier.
