FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2018

  • Updated list of store hours and closings
  • More than 500 truckloads of essential supplies have now been shipped to areas with customers and stores impacted by Hurricane Michael.
  • Lowe’s prepares for at least 15 community relief events in various communities across the storm-impacted region. The first events are planned for Saturday, October 13 in Tallahassee and additional events will continue to take place at various stores in the area throughout the next week. The events will include Lowe’s associates and volunteers distributing free hot meals and supplies to those in the hardest-hit areas.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2018

  • Updated list of store hours and closings
  • Lowe’s announces it is doubling its commitment to 2018 Hurricane Relief, bringing the company’s total commitment to these relief efforts to $4 million. 
  • About 100 Lowe’s associates volunteering on Employee Relief Teams are ready to deploy to the impacted region to help. Employee relief teams are groups of specially trained Lowe’s employees who deploy to areas affected by natural disasters, giving impacted employees a chance to focus on their families.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2018

  • Updated list of store hours and closings
  • Lowe’s has shipped more than 250 truckloads of supplies to areas that will be impacted by Hurricane Michael. The trucks delivered supplies that will help people prepare for and recover from the storm including generators, bottled water, sand, plywood, gas cans and tarps.
  • The Emergency Command Center was activated on October 8, allowing Lowe’s to expedite emergency supplies to stores and customers in need. Some of the supplies went to the Lowe’s in Tallahassee where customers continue to pick up product before Michael makes landfall.
