Lowe’s and Rebuilding Together work to fix Hollywood Heights homes damaged by flooding
Nearly a year after Hurricane Matthew hit, one North Carolina community is still working to rebuild after flooding caused many homes to become uninhabitable.
Hurricane Matthew was the costliest national disaster in 2016, damaging $10 billion in property.
One neighborhood hit particularly hard was Hollywood Heights in Fayetteville. It’s a tight knit community that is home to many military veterans who have lived there for decades.
