Lowe’s Emergency Relief Teams provide support for fellow associates

More than 100 Lowe’s associates left their stores and homes to make their way to some of the hardest hit areas affected by Hurricane Dorian. These specially trained associates voluntarily leave to provide additional support and to give associates impacted by the storm, a chance to focus on their families.

This is the third deployment for Tiffany Brussel, a department supervisor from Lowe’s of Rock Hill, South Carolina, so she knows her week long deployment in Myrtle Beach will be rewarding.

“It’s long hours, lots of hard work, lots of lifting boxes and sad stories of people losing their homes,” she said. “(But) I think it’s great that Lowe’s sends us to the coast to help out with displaced employees and with the community that’s been affected by the hurricane.”

Watch the video above to follow along as Emergency Relief Teams depart from Rock Hill and Atlanta, Georgia.
