Lowe's contributed $1B in savings to military families in 2018

In honor of Veterans Day, Lowe’s announced it has helped military families save nearly $1 billion in 2018 through the company’s military discount. Lowe’s is also proud to announce it’s expanding the ways it recognizes, honors and shows appreciation for military men and women at its stores.

Founded by military veteran Carl Buchan, Lowe’s has always been a supporter of the U.S. military and veterans. For more than ten years, Lowe’s has also offered discounts to veterans and active military servicemen and women as a way of saying ‘thank you’ to those individuals and their families. Additionally, Lowe’s Open House has and will continue to highlight inspiring stories about the military community across the United States.
